Some children arrive early as their parents begin their working day. The children start their day with breakfast, which is serve until 8 am. At 8:30 a.m. our school day begins as each child is guided to their classroom and greeted by their teacher. You might find our younger children starting their day with devotions, discussing the weather, the calendar, or the letter of the week. Our VPK and K-12 students might be practicing letters, working on math and math concepts or listening to the morning Bible Devotion. Mornings are filled with music excitement and learning as children enjoy lessons and learning activities based on the curriculum and themes for each month. On any given morning, you will observe children engaging in learning through play in the various interest areas in the classrooms or gaining physical exercise outside on our playground. You will also see our dedicated, nurturing and professional teachers and staff consistently observing children, creating and leading small and large group activities, guiding children’s social interactions, and communicating with parents. After a busy day, the children are ready for a delicious lunch, and rest. The preschool day resumes after rest time with a healthy snack and free play. Children will have the opportunity to enjoy extra playtime, additional opportunities for art, books, and games.
